Payer/Client Information

Organized in 1985, Baptist Health Services Group is a highly successful network of hospital, physician and ancillary providers that offers health care services to payers/clients. Payers/clients include insurance companies, self-funded employers, national and regional networks, third-party administrators, TennCare managed care organizations and other government programs.

BHSG's portfolio of contracts is diverse. It includes provider networks that support group health plan options such as PPO, HMO, POS, EPO, and workers' compensation services. Although the BHSG contracting department's goal is to negotiate contracts on behalf of all providers in the network, some of its arrangements include subsets of providers to help meet our customers' needs.
